Abandoned places are creepy for a number of reasons. For starters they are abandoned for reasons we are unsure of. Maybe the place is cursed, or maybe unknown toxins lurk in the walls. Second, they are often in shambles. They often have mold growing on the walls, layers of dirt on the floor, and personal items are scattered about. With that being said, a lot of people love exploring abandoned mansions. Obviously the owners must have been extremely wealthy, or else how could they afford such a big house, so who knows what they might find. Maybe they’ll find treasure, but chances are they will find something creepily terrifying.
